I love love love Nantucket Island. I love Nantucket through the eyes of photographers, artists, painters, and of course via Instagram. A program that is so fabulous. If a picture is a thousand words, then we have plenty of them on here, since words aren't enough to possibly describe Nantucket Island.

Instagram is so creative, and I love seeing Nantucket through it. Please visit us on Instagram, at http://www.instagram.com/centuryhousenantucket for some amazing photos around the island. Nantucket in the Winter, Fall, Spring and Summer.

Getting to Nantucket Island from Boston by train and ferry

I have already written on the blog about how to get to Nantucket Island here, and here  however recently I learned that you can now get to the Cape Cod (specifically Hyannis, where you can get the ferry to Nantucket) by train. Yes by train! Not to Nantucket, but to Hyannis, MA. Close enough! Boston is not that far from Cape Cod or ferry dock to Nantucket  Island from Hyannis, MA.

You got options: fly into Boston airport, Ma and either take the Plymouth Brockton bus, rent a car, hire a town car with driver, and now take the train to Hyannis, MA.  The train ride is between South Station and Hyannis, MA according to Boston Globe.

More information, directions, and schedule for riding on the train, CapeFlyer, find them on on twitter @CapeFlyer1 or go to www.CapeFlyer.com. Once you are in Hyannis Port Ma, you can then get on HyLine ferry from Hyannis, MA to Nantucket Island, MA.

You can always follow us on facebook, Google+, twitter, pinterest or simply go to our website www.centuryhouse.com for info on accommodations, rooms, and Nantucket Island.

Ride on!

Signs of a Nantucket Spring

If sunsets signal end of a day the air can very well signal the end of Winter. Today and yesterday just felt different. Perhaps Springtime has arrived on Nantucket.

Enjoy these glorious photos of the island. Magical!
